2014
Welcome to the third edition of Cactus Scoot Battle Poland !
Championships are divided into four categories: Polish Champion , ISA Championship, G-shock Junior Champion and MGP Best Trick.
Date: 21 and 22 June
Place: Skatepark Jutrzenka ul. Rozbrat 5, Warsaw, Poland.
Polish Champion
ELIMINATION :
- Competition open to all.
- One rider = 2 runs (highest score of 2 runs).
- The best player score two runs will be the result .
- On the first day we emerge top 10 riders who will pass to the final ( where they will be able rival with the foreign ridersami).
FINAL :
- Final Polish Championship will be held on Sunday, June 22 .
- One rider = 2 runs ( highest score of 2 runs )
PRIZE MONEY : 1000 zł (cash ) and prizes from manufacturers and sponsors.
ISA Championship
ELIMINATION :
- Each rider has 2x individually timed runs.
- The time limit will be between 45 to 90 seconds pending park size and is decided on by the organizer.
- All riders have the same time and the organizer will announce the time limit prior to the competition start.
- A riders 2nd run will take place in succession with the other riders & only when all riders have completed their 1st run does a rider have their 2nd.
- The rider’s best score of the 2 runs will decide their final position of the elimination rounds.
- Should 2 or more riders have the same score then their 2nd run will determine which rider is placed higher.
- The top 15 will go into a final.
- The final will start with the rider who qualified with the least highest score.
- The ranking 1st to 15th will be based on highest to lowest scores.
FINAL :
Players of the first fifteen have another 2 runs in the same format as above. The best results of the two routes will be marked with 15 seats. From the highest to the lowest number of points .
PRIZE MONEY: 600 EUR
G -SHOCK Junior Champion (15 years )
ELIMINATION :
- G-shock Junior Champion is a contest for those who have not completed 15 years, have some skills but not enough to compete in the open championship. It is an incentive to check up on the background of other players from all over the country.
- One rider = one run
FINAL :
- G -SHOCK Junior Champion will be held on Sunday, June 22 .
- One rider = one run
PRIZE MONEY: To win in this category : Title G-shock Junior Champion in 2014 and prizes from manufacturers and sponsors. Awarded the first 15 places.
MGP Best Trick
ELIMINATION AND FINAL :
- MGP Best Trick is a competition in which each rider can show their best trick
- One rider = two runs .
PRIZE MONEY: € 350 + prizes from manufacturers and sponsors.
SCORING AND METHOD OF EVALUATION BY THE STANDARDS ISA IN ALL COMPETITIONS:
The judge may grant a maximum of 25 points based on each category , giving a total score of 1 to 100 points.
JUDG
Difficulty – 25
Tricks that are difficult to execute
Technical tricks
Difficult lines within the park
Large gaps or high airs will also be taken into account
Diversity – 25
A run consisting of various types of tricks
Using the park to its full capability
Using the park in ways that other competitors are not
The more varied the run and the more obstacles
Consistency -25
Tricks completed without placing foot on floor.
The smoother the run with minimal crashes.
Golden rule of thumb is that 3 points should be taken per fail
No rider is to be placed in the 90’s if one or more failed tricks
Style -25
Confidence that is shown is a riders run
Originality & attempting a different second run
Attempting something different from others riders
A rider that completes an entertaining run
A rider that makes tricks look easy and effortless
Note: Style is not street or park or what a rider wears. It’s if 2 riders throw the same trick, the rider that does it bigger, better and smoother will be marked higher.
The less a player touches the ground , the less concedes mistakes and uncontrollable subversive – the higher the score .
